Pyriproxyfen and other juvenile hormone analogues

摘要

Pyriproxyfen [4-phenoxyphenyl (RS)-2-(2-pyridyloxy) propyl ether] is a new photo-stable insect growth regulator and active against whiteflies, thrips, aphids and scales as agricultural pests and against mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches and fleas as non-agricultural pests. Mode of action and selectivity and metabolism of pyriproxyfen are also discussed.
