摘要

We read with interest the article by Schrey et al. They reported that the rate of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD) was 4.3% after pars plana vitrec-tomy (PPV) for vitreous hemorrhage (VH) or trac-tional retinal detachment (tRD) caused by prolifera-tive diabetic retinopathy. Their conclusion needs further comment.
