Moving to the miniature

Currently within research and development laboratories focused on pharmaceutical,biotechnological or analytical science there is movement towards miniaturisation.Reduced biological or chemical reagent volumes can be perceived as the main problem standing in the way of reduced assay volumes.Addressing these would not only permit cutting assay costs,but could more importantly reduce product development timelines.
