Diamond Light Source is the UK's national synchrotron science facility, and its advanced capabilities are driving forward significant advances in the field of life science. Whilst it is used by scientists in all the fields, the facility has been at the forefront of the life sciences, support-ing efforts to combat Polio, HIV, TB and cancer, and to enable research that could support new treatments for anxiety, stress and depression.
