Purpose Bone graft substitutes have been successfully used in posterolateral lumbar fusion, anterior cervical fusion and animal studies. This study has been conducted to assess the safety and efficacy of beta-tricalcium phosphate (beta-TCP) in instrumented anterior lumbar interbody fusion (ALIF) procedure.
