SYSTEM: a knowledge description language for control applications

摘要

This paper introduces SYSTEM: A knowledge base description language for PC based control application. The language design take into consideration the main features of control applications that differentiates it from other classical applications such as the concurrent handling of event and the input data that is generated automatically by Sensor. This paper is intended to explain the special requirements of knowledge base systems for control applications and the language definition of SYSTEM. Finally, a tested case, that shows how SYSTEM can be used to build control application, is introduced.
