Precision farming - getting better guidance

Through their responses to the National Agricultural Surveys (NAS) of 2003, 2006 and 2009 Kondinin Group members have helped Farming Ahead paint a picture of the adoption of GPS equipment on farms Australia-wide. Since our last look at precision farming through the 2006 NAS the market has seen significant consolidation, with many Australian-based manufacturers amalgamating into international companies. Kondinin Group engineer, Ben White shares the results of the latest NAS, investigates some of the marketplace changes and explores the current offerings from major guidance equipment manufacturers.
