On the range of the Chebli-Trimeche transform

We first characterise the L-2-Schwartz functions whose image under the Chebli-Trimeche transform are compactly supported smooth functions. We then generalise a theorem by H. H. Bang, characterising the smooth L-p-functions whose ( distributional) transform have compact support.
