The capability to recognize illegality depends on developmental steps in the field of biological as well as psychological processes and, as far as the juridical text is concerned, bond to the notions as morality and intellectuality, judgement and the way of right acting. The awareness of being or becoming unlawful is depending on punishable offences as well as physiological and psychological developmental steps. The notions "sittliche und geistige Reife" and the overlapping field of responsibility and culpability are discussed.
