In Reply I am grateful for the clarity offered by Ms Alsalihi and colleagues regarding Immanuel Kant’s horrific racist and sexist prejudice. When I cited his words in the Viewpoint, 1 I was not aware of this well-documented component of his work. I should have been more diligent and at least called it to the attention of readers. I shall not make this mistake again.
