The first point I must stress is that I made several alterations during the construction and, in many cases the photographs will not agree with the drawings. The latter should be taken as correct Work begins with the backplate shown on the drawing (fig 3). The complete movement is mounted on this plate and, as can be seen, there are numerous holes to be drilled and tapped. Several of these holes accommodate pillars which carry either a cock or bridge, and these holes should be drilled in conjunction with these components.
