Fiat Powertrain Technologies unveils two engines certified for underground use

Fiat Powertrain Technologies of North America Inc., recently unveiled two mechanical engines for underground mining applications that meet U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), Canada Centre for Mineral and Energy Technology (CANMET) and Tier 3 certifications. The engines, the N45 4 MSS X and the N67 MNT X, can be configured to meet many mining application needs including man trips, roof bolters, personnel carriers and service centers.
