LME stocks posted a substantial net rise of 2,508 tonnes last week as more Russian full plate cathode arrived in Rotterdam. In percentage terms, this amounted to a 2.1% rise, the biggest weekly gain of the year. It took the headline total to 123,594 tonnes, the highest level since June, and some 11,400 tonnes (10.2%) above the mid-August low.
