USMA's Web site has had a metric road signs page since 2003. We have quite a collection of photos at www. metric.org/signs/ gathered over the past 10 years from around the U.S., on a Web page nicely formatted by Gary Brown. What's interesting is that 32 of the 50 states have examples of at least one sign displaying metric units. The map of the U.S. on the Web site shows which states are represented and which aren't. Interestingly, no metric signs have been reported in most of the plains states; otherwise, most of the eastern and western states are represented.
