It is with a heavy heart that I have to impart the sad news that Lindsey Deaves has lost her battle with the dreaded big "C". Lindsey had been fighting this disease for several years and still she supported our Mesemb Events, enabled with the supportof her husband David. She had in the past made entries but more recently put her limited energies into the sales alone. I know that it was in some years touch and go as to whether she would be there or not, often having undergone recent further treatment. She was an extremely generous person, encouraging through the BCSS Forum and the MSG Exchange List, many new to mesemb growing by giving them her seedlings, cuttings and young plants.
