Laminazione Sottile, a major processor ofaluminium, located in Caserta, Italy, hasjust placed an order for a new OptifoilHeavySlit foil slitting machine, type HGS18/08 with Achenbach Buschhutten. Theobjective of this investment is to expandproduction in the field of finstock productsand flexible water pipes. In orderto guarantee the known to be first-classquality of Laminazione Sottile's products,the decision was made in favour ofAchenbach Optifoil technology and inparticular relating to the innovative singlecontact roller technology which grantboth the reduction of scrap (loose sideslits) and a better winding quality of narrowfinished rolls.
