THAILAND'S TOTAL COAL imports fell 16 month on month in August, according to customs statistics, as demand fell over the summer. August imports were 1.75 mt, down from 2.10 mt in July and dropping 4 from 1.84 mt in August 2014. Thermal coal imports dropped 16 in the month to 0.786 mt, from 0.937 mt in July.
