FREIGHT RATES for Capesizes in the Atlantic have sunk lower in the past fortnight, with limited demand for cargoes in October. Panamax rates continue to hold steady, with more demand for smaller cargoes, sources said. The Cape rate between Bolivar and Rotterdam was about $S.60/t, compared with $6.85/t a fortnight ago, while Panamaxes on the same route rose to S7.70A from S7.60A.
