Thermal imager spots maintenance hotspots

A thermal imager for people involved in predictive and preventative electrical and mechanical maintenance has been launched by infra-red specialist Irisys. The IRI4010 has been designed for thermographers, maintenance engineers or any other technician required to identify, measure and record temperatures from -10 deg C to +250 deg C and has a pixel resolution of 160 x 120 that gives crisp images. The IRI 4010 has a state of the art 3.5-inch large colour LCD display with LED backlight. Up to 1,000 high quality images can be stored and retrieved at full digital resolution on the supplied SD card. Two measurement cursors highlight temperature and temperature difference while a class II laser focuses on the central measurement area to identify hot spots.
