World-wide unified scales for the rockwell hardness test

For all hardness tests using conical indenters, HRC, HRA, HRD, HR15N, HR30N and HR45N, worldwide unified scales should be achieved. This may be performed by means of metrological examination of the influence concerning the differences between the values measured on reference blocks during a round robin test [1 to 4].
