Investigation of transient spacehyphen;chargehyphen;perturbed currents

The effect of space charge on transient current in dielectric media with constant voltage boundary conditions is studied for timehyphen;dependent injection at one electrode. Several cases are investigated which include fieldhyphen;dependent mobility in the dielectric, fieldhyphen;dependent injection at one electrode, and a combination of the two. The results show the importance of these field dependences. Experimental data are presented which illustrate some of these features.
