Mention information technology or the dreaded 'superhighway' and most shudder at the thought of gimmicks, inappropriate (or worse) 'unfriendly' operating systems and 'techno-speak'. Often forgotten amongst those 'in the know' is the blatant fact that many who use these high-tech, advanced systems may not have used a similar system before or may not be totally conversant with computer jargon and software capabilities.It is thus refreshing to meet with a small band of individuals who are both self-confessed 'computer addicts' and former foundrymen. Thus they understand the specific requirements of foundries and, as importantly foundries' customers, and are able to offer complete foundry business and e-business solutions to the industry at large.
