Over the past five years, SERT has become the leader in Europe for global vision automatic mould pouring, with over 30 pouring machines in Europe operating with SERT solution 'UCERAM'. Recently, seven units were installed on existing pouring machines at one plant in North America. UCERAM is easy to fit on any existing or new machine pouring through a stopper. Benefits include significantly reduced operator involvement, reduced pouring incidents (short pour/over pour), iron savings and reduced over pour consequences (iron bridges between moulds, stops and damages on shake out and conveying systems). On an existing pouring machine, the return on investment takes between 6 months and on year.
