Internal reforms should accompany further customs duty reduction: CII

In its pre-budget memorandum to the Ministry of Finance,the Confederation of Indian Industry (CM) has stressed that 12-plus growth in manufacturing is necessary,if the GDP has to grow at the rate of 8-9 or higher on a sustainable basis.Towards this end,among other measures,CM has highlighted the need for several reforms relating to custom duty structure.
