A new survey has found that, despite the harsh global financial climate, most people in the area are positive about their economic future. Some might attribute such optimism to too many pints of Fraserburgh's Hop Rocker ale, but it is more likely down to the fact that 19% of Aberdeenshire workers now operate in the oil and gas industry, compared with only 13% in 2005. Council leader Anne Robertson said: "We will maintain this level of positivity, as well as continue to deliver a range of initiatives to support and encourage business development."
