Glass Strength

Glass strength is a subject of technical in-terest and practical importance. Its impor-tance is constantly becoming greater be-cause of the continued expansion of glass into structural applications. Corning alone makes many investigations and tests each year to increase the strength of its products, and thousands of tests in order to maintain technical control of this strength in manu-facture.
