The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Ferc) moved closer to regaining its quorum Tuesday when a Senate panel overwhelmingly approved President Trump’s nominees to fill two vacant seats. By 20-3 votes, the Energy and Natural Resources Committee voted to send the nominations of Neil Chatterjee and Robert Powelson to the full Senate, which is expected to confirm the pair in the next few weeks.
