SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF AMIDO AND AMIDO(MONOALKYLAMIDO)NITROSYLTRIS(3,5-DIMETHYLPYRAZOLYL)BORATOMOLYBDENUM COMPLEXES

The chloro-amido complex Mo{HB(3,5-Me2C3HN2)(3)}(NO)Cl(NH2) was prepared by treating Mo{HB(3,5-Me2C3HN2)(3)}(NO)Cl-2 with an excess of ammonia. The monoalkylamido complexes Mo{HB(3,5-Me2C3HN2)(3)}-(NO)(NH2)(NHR) (R = Me, Et, Pr-(n) under bar and Bu-(n) under bar) were obtained by the reaction of Mo{HB(3,5-Me2C3HN2)(3)}(NO)Cl(NH2) with the appropriate primary amines. The IR and H-1 NMR spectra of the new complexes were investigated. References: 16
