Two factoids that I recently saw piqued my interest. The first was a study to determine the favorite sport of teens and young adults. I was savvy enough to know that my favorite, baseball, was not going to win, so I expected it would be football or even soccer. I was wrong! It was extreme sports, such as surfing in all its variations, in-line skating, and a form of sport that involves bicycles going up and down a ramp over and over again much like a mouse in a wheel. The kids they interviewed looked a little different because they had more tattoos and piercing, and wore baggier clothes than I expected.
