A wide range of goods for the region

In 1973 Sarath de Silva opened a small export business for seafood which was soon expanded by fresh fruits under the name International Foodstuff Company -IFCO - (Pvt) Ltd. Today the company is one of the biggest export companies for tropical fruits and vegetables. The motto Silva coined many years ago is: "Farm to Fork within 24 hours". The range of products includes 31 different kinds of fresh fruits, 92 fresh vegetables, salads and herbs as well as 21 varieties of fresh and processed spices.
