The container has revolutionized the transportation of cargo around the world. It is now used to ship goods of all kinds, from automotive parts to Zucchinis. For the consumer today it is completely normal that practically all kinds of fruit and vegetable are available year-round. Particularly fresh produce requires special care during transport. That's why perishables should be transported by experts, be it overland, by sea or by air. These experts met at a forum called "The success story of the reefer container" during the international transport logistic fair 2011 in Munich, Germany.
