Dubai-Norway's DNO and London-listed Genel Energy have both reached agreement with the Kurdistan Regional Government on outstanding payments owed to them for oil exports from Iraqi Kurdistan, the companies said Thursday. The deals over exports from the Taq Taq and Tawke oil fields in the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region will go a long way to clearing long-term uncertainty over payments for the several dozen international oil and gas contractors operating in the region.
