On 27 September 2021 the UK Government published its first ever National Space Strategy.This document was, as you would expect, full of much enthusiasm and talk of rockets going aloft from the UK. On first glance it seemed to me a little light on detail, but welcome nonetheless. For this reader, however, the main interest was to get under the veneer. Specifically, would the National Space Strategy refer to the almost 18 months of work that UK experts, many of them RIN members, had contributed to the UK Positioning, Navigation and Timing strategy development?
