BLACK SEA: Black Sea prices for prills moved lower this week as traders held off covering short positions. Producers reduced asking prices below the $252-254/mt achieved last week. Two trades were completed at $246- 247/mt FOB and tonnage eventually got booked at $245/mt FOB in a 10,000 mt sale by AgroFerTrans to Transammonia. In the inter-trader market, MaxAgro picked up a 20,000 mt parcel of Cherkassy material from Toepfer and resold the cargo to Nitron, also at $245/mt FOB. Nitron is loading the cargo on the Royal Crystal, starting today. The vessel will sail for Mexico against a prior Nitron sale.
