Nigerian Oil Minister Edmund Daukoru said March 28 Royal Dutch Shell's EA shallow water field is billed to resume production of 120,000 b/d within the next week."Shell has told me that production of 120,000 b/d from the EA field could be back in the next one week," Daukoru told reporters in Abuja."The remaining volume of the oil production,or about 500,000 b/d,could be back in the next one month,after an assessment and evaluation of the damages done to the production facilities have been ascertained," he added.
