Unifying Automation: TAKING A MORE HOLISTIC APPROACH TO AUTOMATION'S ROLE IN BOOSTING EFFICIENCY

As was mentioned in part one of this article (May/June Grain Journal) , there are a variety of automated functions within a facility that tend to be operated independently of each other such as the monitoring of hazards, grain temperatures, and dryers, just to mention a few. Tying these islands of automation together into a more unified system can save time and reduce human error, which ultimately will boost the facility's operation efficiency.
