French port,refinery strike action ends after accords

London-Two French strikes-one by port workers and another by Total refinery workers-that had hit refining operations in France were over by December 15 after resolutions were reached,officials said.The strike at the French Mediterranean ports of Fos and Lavera ended December 15 after agreement was reached between the trade union involved,the CGT's Federation Nationale des Ports et Docks,and the port operator,an official at the French oil companies association UFIP said.
