Dan Pappas, president of the Provincial Glaziers Association of Alberta (PGAA), writes to day that "Our last meeting took place in Edmonton and we had 12 out of 14 directors present. We welcomed Dwayne Stolz from Red Deer who will replace Greg Biette as our central membership director; Bill Snow, GTA's present president; and Art Deviat, GAMA's incoming president. Ray Greenland's commitments to his industry were acknowledged as well as his employer, Alberta Glass, for providing Greenland with the time away from work to fulfill his volunteer obligations of which Greenland did an outstanding job over the past year. It was a pleasure working with him.""Greenland and Snow provided us with an update with their associations' activities. GTA presently has 18 members with another possible four coming on-board shortly. Snow's mandate for his term will be encouraging membership growth within the GTA to local glass contractors and maintaining open communications with GAMA.
