Behavioural changes and peculiar clinical symptoms in goats due to water deprivation under hot climatic conditions

Dehydration is common in animals which is usually un-noticed. Clinically there are three types of dehydration - hypertonic, hypotonic and isotonic. Hypertonic dehydration occurs as a result of loss or deprivation of water with minor losses or deprivation of sodium (Radostits et al., 1994). The present experiment was aimed to study various clinical manifestations and behavioural changes as a result of water deprivation in goats under hot climatic conditions.
