In the environmentally friendly '90s, the imple-mentation of the three R's --reduce, reuse and recycle -- is gaining more importance in industry. The public is demanding environmentally safe production practices that take into consideration their health and safety. A research team from the University of Guelph, led by professors B. Grodzinski and J..M. Schmidt, is addressing this demand by testing alternative methods of insect management that may reduce the use of pesticides in the greenhouse.
