A new fungicide for Rhizoctonia root rot control

We have just recently received notification that the PMRA (Pest Management Regulatory Agency) has granted temporary registration of a new product for Rhizoctonia root rot control for various greenhouse container ornamentals. The product is called Compass 50 WG (50% trifloxystrobin), and has been approved for use as a drench at time of seeding. At the time of writing, the product is not yet available for purchase, but is expected to be on the shelf by late March.
