Seed oils from three indigenous species, viz. Andrographis paniculata, Pergularia extensa and Momordica tuberosa plants belonging to three different families have been analysed for physico-chemical properties by UV, IR, TLC and GLC techniques. All the three seed oils contain small amount of sterculic and malvalic acids. These oils were individually screened for LD_50 studies, anti-inflammatory and analgesis activities.
