Air Products Closes Sale to Evonik Of Performance Materials Division

Lettigh Valley—Air Products has completed the sale of its Performance Materials Division (PMD) to Evonik Industries for $3.8-billion in cash (PCN, 10 Oct 2016, p 4). Upon closing of the transaction, operational facilities, supplier contracts, labs, contracts, customers, and employees and certain legal entities associated with the PMD were transferred to Evonik.
