Asia seen leading jet fuel demand recovery

Singapore-Global jet fuel demand is expected to see some strength next year, with Asia leading the way, as economic activity in emerging economies is already starting to rebound, Bank of America-Merrill Lynch said last week in a report. Jet fuel stocks are now brimming in Europe and airlines continue to trim capacity. Asian refiners, in turn, are responding to the European surplus by cutting back run rates. And with global industrial production already showing some signs of recovery, this will lend support to jet, analysts at the investment bank said.
