China exported 436,579 mt AS in August 2016, a drop of 20 on the same period the prior year. Total shipments for January-August 2016 were 2.96 million mt, a decline of 15 year on year. Most of China's AS was directed to Indonesia in the first eight months of this year at 475,173 mt, a decline of 30 on 2015.
