Brazil’s June imports of sulphur increased 30 year on year to 201,926 mt, though imports for the first half of the year were still down 3 at 927,756 mt. The US remained the largest source of sulphur imports, with volumes for H1 up 16 at 433,056 mt. Imports from Russia were down 17 at 174,455 mt, and imports from Kazakhstan were down 58 at 124,472 mt. But H1 imports from the UAE were up to 75,497 mt from 45,328 mt.
