China: Sulphur imports stay roughly stable in 2016

China’s December 2016 imports of sulphur decreased 16 year on year to 1.02 million mt, leaving the January-December volume roughly stable at 11.96 million mt. The biggest source of December tonnes was the UAE, which supplied 221,982 mt. Volumes from the UAE over the full year increased 18 to 1.84 million mt.
