GA readers Andrew and Judy Blackburn didn't let a lack of gardening experience stop them creating a beautiful garden in eight weekends. Ceri Thomas tells their story. Photographs can be deceptive. It's only when you stand in Andrew and Judy Blackburn's Yorkshire garden that you realise just how small it is - a tiny corner of land left over at the back of the house after the rest was sold off for building many years before. You can understand why the previous owners gave up and put it all down to concrete. But, despite never having a garden before, the Blackburns were ready for the challenge.
