A new survey from broadband analysts ARS Inc.finds that prices for consumer broadband Internet service rose across both the cable and DSL markets in the first quarter of 2002.The ARS Broadband MarketTrack survey is the second since the quarterly report's premiere in the last quarter of 2001 - in which ARS also found prices rising.ARS Analyst Mark Kersey notes that 91 percent of broadband providers that have been in business since the beginning of 2001 have raised prices during the two study quarters.
