An Open Letter

Dear Fiera Milano.I've just returned from three days in Milan,attending Plast 06(and,briefly,the co-located packaging show Ipack-Ima).As you know,the shows were held in your new fairground at Rho-Pero.It looks stunning-far more stylish than the old location in the centre of town.But the Space Age architecture is let down by Stone Age planning.I've attended many trade shows in my time.And while Plast 06 was generally impressive [a review of the show starts on page 43] everything around it-the organisation,transport and infrastructure-made my time at the show something of an endurance test.I'm sure it was the same for others.
